‘House of Cards’ Would be Banned by Barney Frank Because It’s ‘Inaccurate, Misleading’ (Video)

But boy does he love “The West Wing”

Sorry, Netflix — Barney Frank is not subscribing for the fourth season of “House of Cards.”

The former member of the U.S. House of Representatives told Conan O’Brien on Thursday that the streaming drama is his least favorite TV representation of domestic politics.

“I’m a great believer in free speech,” Frank told the TBS host, “but if I was going to make an exception, I would ban ‘House of Cards’ from being shown.”

“It is the most inaccurate, misleading, and unfortunately it gives people a bad idea,” he continued. “We suffer from people saying, ‘What’s the point of voting, it doesn’t do any good, none of them can be trusted’ — and ‘House of Cards’ just reinforces all of that inaccurate impression.”

The best show ever done about politics? “The West Wing,” according to Frank.
