The first trailer for Pivot’s first scripted drama series, “Fortitude,” features a woman telling viewers that the eponymous town surrounded by Arctic wilderness is the “safest place on Earth.”
Footage from the series starring Stanley Tucci, Richard Dormer, Sofie Gråbøl and Christopher Eccleston proves otherwise, however.
Guns, sex and murder highlight the 60-second teaser (above) for the drama about an unexpected murder that threatens to change a small town forever.
The thriller, which was originally set up at Starz, premieres in January.
