“Fox & Friends Weekend” apologized for an on-screen graphic Sunday that described El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras as “3 Mexican countries.”

Hosts Ed Henry, Jedediah Bila and Pete Hegseth were setting up a news item about the State Department’s announcement that the U.S. will no longer provide foreign assistance to  the three countries when the graphic below stated: “Trump cuts U.S. aid to 3 Mexican countries.”

Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras are, of course, four separate countries.

Later in the show, Henry corrected the error and apologized.

“Now we want to clarify and correct something that happened earlier in the show,” Henry said. “We had an inaccurate graphic on screen while talking about this very story. We just want to be clear, the funding is being cut off to the three Central American countries. We apologize for the error. It never should have happened.”
