‘Full House’ Opening Credits Brilliantly Recreated by San Francisco Giants, Dave Coulier (Video)

Apparently Buster Posey is holding out for “Family Matters” night at the ballpark

The San Francisco Giants recently jumped on the nostalgia trolley, as players and staff recreated the “Full House” opening credits for a themed night at AT&T Park.

In a video that played on the Jumbotron for fans, shortstop Brandon Crawford joyously strummed a guitar while relief pitcher Javier Lopez tossed a frisbee around, taking on John Stamos and Jodie Swetin’s roles, respectively. Even manager Bruce Bochy got in on the local fun, though star catcher Buster Posey was conspicuously missing in action.

“Full House” famously took place in the Golden Gate City, and the row home that serves as shots of the exterior remains a big tourist attraction 20 years after the show went off the air.

Towards the end, “Full House” star Dave Coulier makes a cameo, dropping pretty much every piece of shtick he was responsible for on the family-friendly “T.G.I.F.” show’s run. Cut it out indeed.

A “Full House” sequel “Fuller House” is currently in production at Netflix, with many of the original cast reprising their roles.
