‘Furious 7’ Goes Big With Explosive 3-Minute Trailer (Video)

Sequel starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham keeps the action going throughout the entire trailer

“Furious 7” just blew expectations away by releasing a three-minute trailer for the upcoming action flick starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson.

And despite its long running time, the trailer doesn’t wait at all to give “Fast & Furious” fans what they’ve come to expect from the franchise: explosions, fast cars, guns, fast cars, violence and more fast cars.

Unfortunately for Diesel, the action kicks off at his house, with Statham the man behind a massive explosion that pretty much wipes the two-story structure off of the map.

“We’re being hunted,” Chris “Ludacris” Bridges says at one point.

Statham’s character is an elite agent-turned-mercenary who appears to have his sights set on pretty much everyone “Furious” fans have come to love over the previous six movies, including Diesel, Walker, Johnson, Bridges, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Tyrese Gibson.

And he’s got his own team of mercenaries set to go toe-to-toe with the good guys.

These ladies and gentlemen aren’t going to take being hunted lying down, though. This is “Furious 7,” and that means it’s time to up the ante and get even wilder and crazier than before. Crazy like driving a fleet of cars out of an airplane … in flight.

It’s fight or die for Vin Diesel’s “family,” and this group isn’t ready to die.

“Furious 7” co-stars Kurt Russell, Elsa Pataky, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, Djimon Hounsou, Nathalie Emmanuel, John Brotherton and Ali Fazal. James Wan directed from a screenplay by Chris Morgan. Diesel produced with Neil H. Moritz. Universal Pictures will release the film to theaters on April 3, 2015.
