Gabrielle Union may be a gorgeous, successful actress, but don’t call her a trophy wife — she knows exactly how her husband Dwyane Wade is performing on the court.
Union, who married Miami Heat point guard Wade in August, crashed the athlete’s postgame interview with Fox Sports on Sunday to offer up her take on his skills. Wade, who along with his team went up against the New York Knicks, had been absent for seven games after pulling his hamstring.
“It was OK,” she said, dropping in between Wade and the correspondent, “I mean a hamstring pull, wow. To come back with 27 points?”
While we can’t imagine Wade giving Union red carpet critiques or notes on how to play a scene, she wasn’t shy about his room for improvement.
“We’re going to talk about the free throws later,” she joked. “He did good for an old geezer.”
Union will been seen next in Chris Rock‘s comedy ‘Top Five,” which releases wide on Dec. 12.
