‘Game of Thrones’: Gregor Clegane Wants to Crush Cristiano Ronaldo’s Skull (Video)

Actor Hafþór Björnsson dares soccer star to score a goal when Portugal faces Iceland in next week’s Euro 2016

Remember when Gregor Clegane crushed Oberyn Martell’s skull into bloody bits on “Game of Thrones”? Well, now the strongman who plays The Mountain, Hafþór Björnsson, wants to do that to soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Next week, the UEFA European Championship is set to begin, with Ronaldo leading Portugal against Iceland. Björnsson, a proud Icelandic giant, was born and raised in Reykjavik, and he wants to make sure his country’s national team pulls off the upset.

“I have a message for Cristiano Ronaldo,” he said in a video posted to YouTube this week. “I know you’re playing against Iceland in the first game. If you dare to score against my teammates, I will find you and crush your head like I did with the Red Viper.”

He could very well do it, too. Bjornsson is the two-time defending champion of the Europe’s Strongest Man competition, where he deadlifted 991 lbs. It’s little wonder he was selected to play one of the deadliest men in Westeros, and on the next episode of “Game of Thrones,” we get to see him do it again.

In the preview for Sunday’s episode, it was revealed that Cersei is going to let loose the reanimated Gregor upon the Faith Militant. Some grey robes may be stained with blood soon.

Cersei’s plan to unleash Gregor Clegane may keep her in our “Game of Thrones” rankings. See who currently takes the top spot below.
