“Game of Thrones” teased the return of Jon Snow in a new Season 6 poster released on Monday.
Snow, played by Kit Harington, appears on the poster with blood running down his face. The poster also prominently features the world “April,” meaning “Game of Thrones” will premiere as usual in April.
Some were concerned the show would not air in its usual time frame as HBO recently set premiere dates for new series “Vinyl” and returning shows “Girls” and “Togetherness,” which would seem to push the start date of “Game of Thrones” into early summer.
At the end of Season 5, Snow was betrayed by other members of the Night’s Watch and was stabbed repeatedly, apparently leading to his death. But many fans have theorized that Snow could make a supernatural return in Season 6 of the popular HBO series.
