Chadwick Boseman doesn’t just act the part of James Brown in biopic “Get On Up,” he sings like the man, too.

The actor, who previously impressed critics as baseball legend Jackie Robinson in “42,” grabbed a mic to belt out “It’s a Man’s World” (above) during a “Late Show with David Letterman“appearance on Thursday.

“Get On Up” has taken in a disappointing $27 million haul at the box office since being released on Aug. 1, but received mostly positive reviews from critics, who were enamored with Boseman’s portrayal of the R&B legend.
