OK, so maybe that wasn’t the ultimate ending to “Gilmore Girls.” Netflix Content boss Ted Sarandos told the British Press Association on Sunday that talks for another season of the revived show are in the “very preliminary” stages.

“We hope,” he said of more. “We obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped.”

Sarandos continued: The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favorite show to come back and for it to disappoint you, but they sure delivered and people were really excited about more, and we have been talking to [show creators] about the possibility of that.”

Giving the setting, Sarandos also spoke on the importance of British TV to his service.

“We will be much more active producers of British programming,” he said, per the Evening Times. “Obviously with ‘Black Mirror,’ where there are new installments coming and we are deep into production of Season 2 of ‘The Crown,’ we are doing co-productions.”

Speaking of “The Crown,” Sarandos would only tease the Season 3 cast: “We do have cast in mind, but we can’t talk about it yet. We are deep into it.”
