Gimlet Media — a podcast network that has found success in adapting its content for television — has announced three new shows set to premiere in October.

The line up includes the company’s first scripted horror series, “The Horror of Dolores Roach,” which stars Daphne Rubin-Vega (“Rent,” “Smash”) and Bobby Cannavale (“Homecoming,” “Mr. Robot”). The company has also partnered with New York Magazine’s The Cut for its s first women’s podcast, “The Cut on Tuesdays.”

Additionally, Gimlet co-founder Alex Blumberg is launching the company’s first interview series, “Without Fail,” which examines the success and failures of those who’ve taken big risks to follow their entrepreneurial dreams. Guests for season one include Andre Iguodala of the Golden State Warriors, Andrew Mason of Groupon, and Sophia Amoruso of Nasty Gal and Girlboss.

“Heavyweight” is returning for its third season on Oct. 4 with an episode featuring comedian Rob Corddry.

Founded in 2014, Gimlet Media, which describes itself as a “media company where everything begins in audio,” has also found success with its intellectual property beyond the microphone. The company is already in the process of seeing three of its podcasts transformed for television. “Homecoming,” one of the network’s most popular audio series, was picked up by Amazon for two seasons;  Disney-owned ABC is developing “Alex Inc,” a sitcom based on the podcast “Startup,” which tracked Gimlet Media’s founding by Blumberg; and “Man Of The People,” a feature starring Robert Downey Jr. from Annapurna Pictures, takes its inspiration from an episode of the podcast “Reply All.”
