“Girl Meets World” tackles women in science in its first new episode back in 2016.

In this exclusive clip from the Jan. 8 episode, titled “Girl Meets STEM,” Riley (Rowan Blanchard) isn’t just quietly accepting that her science partner Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis) will do the majority of the work.

When she shows up to do her part after school and discovers every other set of partners from the class also designated the girl to the same role, she forms a new hypothesis about what’s really going on.

As TheWrap reported, the show has been renewed for a third season, set to premiere in spring 2016.

The series is a production of It’s A Laugh Productions, Inc and Michael Jacobs Productions.

“Girl Meets World” airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET on Disney Channel.
