Golden Globes Awards: Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson Are ‘Fifty Shades’ of Awkward (Video)

The stars of “Fifty Shades of Grey” share a moment on stage that’s anything but steamy

If reaction from some viewers to Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan’s presentation at Sunday’s Golden Globes Awards is any indication, producers of “Fifty Shades of Grey” might have reason to worry.

The stars of the much-hyped movie, adapted from E.L. James‘ naughty erotic novel by the same name, took the stage with an uninviting and at times uncomfortable demeanor. The two may have even had less chemistry than  James Franco and Anne Hathaway when the two hosted the Oscars in 2011.

Dornan and Johnson sported dour faces and showed a total lack of eye contact as they presented this year’s Golden Globe Award for best supporting actress in TV series, miniseries, or TV movie.

It wasn’t until Dornan read his last line and announced the winner (Joanne Froggatt, “Downton Abbey”) that he finally flashed what looked like half a smile.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” comes out Feb. 13.
