‘The View’: Joy Behar Cheers GOP Debate Infighting: ‘It Was Kind of Refreshing’ (Video)

“I think the next [one] should be on Comedy Central,” stand-up says of the high snark level

“The View” recapped Tuesday’s Republican debate Wednesday morning, and suffice it to say, none of the GOP candidates are getting a majority vote out of the ABC daytime panel.

Michelle Collins blasted recent “View” guest and frequent punching bag Carly Fiorina for having what the comedian called an “antiquated” position on the gender pay gap, while Whoopi Goldberg continued to rag on Marco Rubio for what the moderator perceives as his lack of empathy for non-Cuban immigrants.

“I really don’t see any economic plan,” Joy Behar stated across-the-board.

Actual journalist Paula Faris’ takeaway was that there were two winners: the purposefully invisible moderators and the aforementioned Rubio. She also said there was a clear loser in John Kasich.

As for Raven-Symone, she preferred the junior debate, saying it provided a better sense of who those four low-polling candidates would be as president. Behar found a silver lining in all of the infighting.

“It was a little snarky. Usually they’re attacking the moderators, this time they were attacking each other,” she said. “It was kind of refreshing.”

“I think the next [debate] should be on Comedy Central,” Behar added.
