Unscripted veteran joins development team for the alternative programming company behind “Intervention”

James Flint to GRB Entertainment

GRB Entertainment named James Flint executive producer on Wednesday.

In the position, the veteran showrunner and director will work with the alternative programming company’s development team to create new content, oversee production on GRB’s TV slate, pilots, casting and sizzle reels.

Previously, Flint has shepherded several programs for different production companies, including A&E’s “Barter Kings,” National Geographic Channel’s “Meltdown,” and Syfy’s “Foxy & Co.” He also co-created “Curvy Girls” on NUVOtv.

“I am thrilled to be joining the team at GRB, a trail-blazing production company known for compelling characters and cutting edge story-telling truly ripped from the heart of real life,” Flint said in a statement to TheWrap. “With successful collaborations already under our belt, I look forward to working with the team to continue to raise the bar in the scripted and unscripted content creation business.”

GRB Entertainment is the company behind the Emmy-winning A&E series “Intervention,” upcoming seasons of “Untold Stories of the ER” on Discovery Life Channel/TLC and “Twisted Tales of My 9 to 5” for Investigation Discovery.

“We’re extremely excited to officially welcome James to the GRB family as we build upon our flagship programming with groundbreaking new TV and film projects over the upcoming year and beyond,” Gary R. Benz, GRB Entertainment’s President and CEO, added. “James’ proven track record as a show runner and director will be an enormous asset as our content portfolio continues to expand.”
