Love is not in the air for G’Win (Gillian Alexy) and Asa (Joe Anderson) in the new episode of the WGN America drama “Outsiders.”
Last week, despite a rekindling of the passion between the two, G’Win agreed to marry Lil Foster (Ryan Hurst). In an exclusive clip of this week’s episode obtained by TheWrap, Asa hears the news and is less than thrilled, telling her she is making a mistake.
“Any woman who doesn’t want to end up with the great Asa Farrell, of course she’s making a mistake,” G’win says disdainfully. “You got such a high view of yourself.”
Also in this week’s episode, Lil Foster and G’Win share the news of their upcoming nuptials and ask Lady Ray for her blessing.
Asa and Big Foster (David Morse) actually bond over moonshine and stolen backhoes. Meanwhile, Hasil (Kyle Gallner) and Sally-Ann (Christina Jackson) take their relationship to the next level.
Playwright Peter Mattei wrote and created the series in addition to executive producing. Fedora Entertainment’s Emmy Award winner Peter Tolan, Oscar-nominated actor Paul Giamatti, Dan Carey for Touchy Feely Films and Fedora’s Michael Wimer also serve as executive producers.
“Outsiders” airs tonight at 9 p.m. on WGN America.
