‘Harley Quinn’: Watch the Trailer for New DC Universe Animated Series (Video)

Comic-Con: Pilot episode of show starring Kaley Cuoco played during streaming service’s panel

DC Universe screened the pilot to its upcoming animated series “Harley Quinn” at Comic-Con on Saturday. While the rest of us will have to wait until this fall to see it for ourselves, we can tide ourselves over with a new trailer.

Watch it above.

Former “The Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco voices title character, Gotham City’s clown princess, former girlfriend of The Joker and enemy-sometimes ally of Batman.

In addition to voicing the character, Cuoco is also set to serve as executive producer on the series, via her Yes, Norman Productions banner, alongside Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey.

Jennifer Coyle serves as supervising producer on the series, which offers a deliberately comedic take on the character played by Margot Robbie in the 2016 feature film “Suicide Squad.”

Joining Cuoco on the new series is Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Diedrich Bader, Tony Hale and Chris Meloni.
