Heather Locklear’s Daughter Lands Role in Judd Apatow Film

Ava Sambora, the 13-year-old daughter of Locklear and Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, will play best friend to character portrayed by Apatow’s daughter Maude

Heather Locklear‘s daughter, Ava Sambora, is getting into the family business.

Sambora, the 13-year-old daughter of Locklear and Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, has landed a role in Judd Apatow’s as-yet-untitled comedy for Universal Pictures, Locklear’s spokesperson confirmed to TheWrap.

Sambora will play “Sadie’s Best Friend,” with the character of Sadie being portrayed by Maude Apatow, Judd’s daughter.

The movie also star’s Apatow regulars Leslie Mann (Maude’s real-life mother) and Paul Rudd, along with Megan Fox, Albert Brooks and Melissa McCarthy. Rudd and Mann will be reprising their roles of Pete and Debbie from 2007’s “Knocked Up.”

Though the cameo role will be Sambora’s acting debut, she has had experience in the public eye — she’s also modeled for her father’s White Trash Beautiful clothing line.
