Hilary Duff, Sutton Foster Go From Table Read to TV for Darren Star Series ‘Younger’ (Video)

Behind-the-scenes featurette for the TV Land comedy juxtaposes rehearsed lines with final shots from the latest episode

TV Land released a behind-the-scenes featurette from “Younger” featuring stars Hilary Duff and Sutton Foster on Tuesday.

“Younger” follows Liza (Foster), a 40-year old woman who pretends to be 26 in order to get a job in the highly competitive world of publishing. Liza has to figure out how to balance her real life with best friend Maggie (Debi Mazar), and her “pretend” life with new friend and coworker Kelsey (Duff).

In the behind-the-scenes featurette, Foster and Duff take a scene from a table read to the final product with bonus footage that offers a unique look at an upcoming episode.

Season one features a number of guest stars, including: Jane Krakowski (“30 Rock”); Ana Gasteyer (“Saturday Night Live”); Martha Plimpton (“Raising Hope”); and Peter Hermann (“Law & Order: SVU”).

“Younger” is executive produced and made for television by “Sex and the City” creator Darren Star, who also writes and directs for the series. “Younger” also marks the reunion of Star and renowned “Sex and the City” costume designer Patricia Field, who serves as the show’s costume consultant.

The first episode is now available in full On Demand, on TVLand.com, Hulu, Amazon Instant Video and iTunes.
