The 2019 BET Awards are on Sunday, and we’ve got a guide for how to watch this year’s biggest celebration of African-American artists, entertainers, athletes and more. “Insecure” actress Regina Hall is set to host, and Migos, Cardi B, and Lil Nas X are among the performers.

This year’s presenters include Lena Waithe, Marsai Martin, Morris Chestnut, Taraji P. Henson and Yara Shahidi. Other performances will feature City Girls, DJ Khaled, Kiana Lede, Billy Ray Cyrus (presumably with Lil Nas X), Lil Baby, Lucky Daye, and Mustard.

Awards will be given out in categories including Album of the Year, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Movie, and more. Cardi B is in the lead so far, with a total of seven nominations spanning across five categories, including Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and Video of the Year.

The 19th annual BET Awards are airing live on Sunday, June 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on the BET network. You can also stream the awards show on the BET website’s live TV feature or on the BET Now app — but you’ll need a TV provider login.

If you, like so many others these days, do not have a cable login, your options are limited — but where there’s a will, there’s a way to watch the BET awards. The easiest way is to start a free week-long trial of an online TV-streaming service, like FuboTV or Philo, or Hulu Live TV, which give you access to several cable channels including BET. The BET Awards also will be broadcast live at the same time across other Viacom channels in the United States, including BET HER, MTV, MTV 2, MTV Classic, VH1, and Logo.

Otherwise, BET’s social media accounts, particularly @BETAwards on Twitter, will post updates throughout the night. Entertainment Tonight will also have live coverage on its Twitter, @etnow, and Instagram, @entertainmenttonight.
