It’s ‘Shriek Week’ on Nickelodeon

Network will air Halloween-themed episodes of “SpongeBob,” “Glenn Martin, DDS.”

With almost as many scary beasties as Shark Week, Nickelodeon is launching "Shriek Week" to get kids in the trick-or-treating spirit.

The cable channel will air a week of Halloween-themed programming from Oct. 23 through Oct. 31.

Also, Nickelodeon websites Nick.com, NickJr.com, Neopets, Shockwave and ParentsConnect will feature new Halloween content and games.

The company will be producing "chill-filled"episodes of "SpongeBob SquarePants," "True Jackson, VP," "The Wonder Pets!," "Glenn Martin, DDS" and other shows that it promises will be spine tinglers for kids from toddler to tween.

Nickelodeon also will repeat Halloween episodes of vintage television shows including "Full House" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch."
