Ivanka Trump has revealed that she was so busy during her father’s presidential campaign that she had to go into “survival mode” by forgoing — wait for it — her usual massages.

“During extremely high-capacity times, like during the campaign, I went into survival mode: I worked and I was with my family; I didn’t do much else,” Ivanka writes in her new book “Women Who Work: Rewriting the Rules for Success,” which came out Tuesday. “Honestly, I wasn’t treating myself to a massage or making much time for self-care. I wish I could have awoken early to meditate for twenty minutes.”

Ivanka and her husband, White House advisor Jared Kushner, own a reported $240m in assets. According to the The New York Times, the couple “will remain the beneficiaries of a sprawling real estate and investment business still worth as much as $741 million, despite their new government responsibilities.”

To be fair, Ivanka said she will be donating all the proceeds from her book to charity. But that didn’t stop Twitterverse from sharing some words of encouragement.

“Has anyone started a fundraising page for Ivanka’s massage yet?” wrote one observer.

“Clearly, life is VERY hard for Ivanka. Going without a massage? That is ROUGH, girl,” wrote another.

A third simply asked: “Our time’s ‘Let them eat cake?’”
