James Corden was so taken aback by Lifetime’s Britney Spears biopic “Britney Ever After” that he decided to give his “Late Late Show” audience a quick recap on Tuesday night.
The film, which premiered on the channel over the weekend, dramatizes the tumultuous story of the pop icon’s rise to fame, fall from grace and eventual resurrection.
Corden, who previously hosted Spears on “Carpool Karaoke,” was absolutely tickled
Corden also rather enjoyed the film’s portrayal of Justin Timberlake and the use of his –ahem–catchphrase “bomb diggity.”
But what really cracked him up was the epic dance off between Britney and Justin following their break up. After playing an almost two-minute clip of the scene, Corden told his audience, “We had to cut seven minutes of this.”
