Jimmy Fallon not only has a hit NBC show, he also apparently has an “ultra-high-tech accent generator,” which he and “Fifty Shades of Grey” star Jamie Dornan used to play made-up “Tonight Show” game Fifty Accents of Grey.
Here’s how it works: Fallon and Dornan were given random accents with which to read even more random lines from the E.L. James novel that inspired the Valentine’s Day weekend film, which also stars Dakota Johnson — who will be Fallon’s guest on Tuesday evening.
“I don’t remember reading about nipple clamps in the Bible,” Dornan kicked off the contest, complete with a Scottish accent.
Fallon followed with some ridiculous line about chocolate hot fudge brownie sex, with an equally cartoonish voice — this one of the Russian variety.
Dornan countered with the following line, adding a French twist: “Don’t get your panties in such a twist … and give me back mine.”
The silly game went on from there. There were no winners, except for every woman in the audience.
“Fifty Shades of Grey” lands in theaters on Friday.
