J.B. Smoove will film his “Curb Your Enthusiasm” scenes… no matter what.
In the first teaser for the HBO show’s 10th season, Smoove shows up on set to film scenes, but he’s told that he’s not scheduled to shoot that day.
Well, he just won’t have that! Smoove rushes through the set to find Larry David and Jeff Garlin in the midst of a heated conversation about, um, poppy seeds and sesame seeds.
David is surprised to see Smoove and tells him he’s not in this scene. But once again, Smoove insists he’s there to work.
“I’m already here!” he tells David. “I’m in this motherf—–!”
Production for the 10th season began last month, 10 months after the premium cable network announced the Larry David-led series had been renewed. No plot details or premiere date was given for the return of the “Seinfeld” co-creator’s neuroses-laced program.
David’s comedy was renewed for a 10th season by HBO last December, with production set to begin in spring 2018 and a yet-to-be-determined debut date yet given. Obviously, something stalled filming for a bit, but hopefully that doesn’t mean you’ll be waiting six years for another season of “Curb” again.
“Curb Your Enthusiasm” was created by David, who executive produces and stars on the show. Garlin and Jeff Schaffer are also executive producers. The sitcom’s Season 9 finale aired on Dec. 3, 2017.
