Jennifer Lawrence Says Harrison Ford, JJ Abrams Didn’t Know Who She Was (Video)

“I humiliated myself more than I ever have before,” says the actress about the failed encounter

Jennifer Lawrence says she humiliated herself like she’s never done before when she danced up to Harrison Ford and J.J. Abrams — but they had no idea who she was.

“I never assume anyone knows who I am,” she said in an interview with The Graham Norton Show. “I saw Harrison Ford and J.J. Abrams and I was like, ‘this is fine, we’re all coworkers, I can just go,’ so I was like, ‘be right back guys, I’m going to say hi to the Star Wars dudes!’”

While explaining the next part of the story, Lawrence busted out in eccentric and hilarious dance moves, but apparently, Ford and company didn’t enjoy it as much, and just stared back at her in horror.

“So I realized while I was dancing, they have no idea who I am, so I turned around and walked back,” she told the British talk show host. “Dying.”

Comedian Jack Whitehall, on the other hand, had better luck with Ford, whom he’s met before.

“It’s alright, I’ll go say hi to Harrison,” Whitehall said after Lawrence’s fail.

And Ford knew exactly who Jack was, thankfully.

Lawrence will reprise her role as Raven/Mystique in “X-Men: Apocalypse” when it hits theaters on May 27.
