Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘SNL’ Promos Poke Fun at Awards Shows, ‘Hunger Games’ (Video)

Jennifer Lawrence's archery skills come up lacking in "SNL" promo, but her humor proves to be pretty much right on target

Jennifer Lawrence, the "Silver Linings Playbook" star, hosts "Saturday Night Live" on Jan. 19 when NBC's late-night comedy show returns to the air, and in a series of new promos for the episode, Lawrence has a little fun with both her recent Golden Globes win and her blockbuster hit "The Hunger Games."

In the first of the promos — which find her sharing face time with "SNL" cast member Jason Sudeikis — Lawrence, who took home a Golden Globe Award on Sunday for her work in "Silver Linings Playbook," is similarly honored.

"And the winner and host of this week's 'SNL' with The Lumineers is — I knew it — Jennifer Lawrence," Sudeikis declares, while dramatically opening an envelope.

"Yes! First the Golden Globes, now this?" Lawrence exclaims. "I don't even know who to thank."

Unfortunately for Lawrence, the walk-off music plays before she can think of who she should express gratitude to.

"Wait, don't play me off!" Lawrence says, as she's ushered away.

In another promo, Lawrence attempts to channel her "Hunger Games" character Katniss Everdeen — by way of William Tell — by shooting an apple off some unlucky soul's head with a bow and arrow.

As you can probably imagine, things don't go as well as planned.
