Prince Royce’s music video for “Back It Up” features two of today’s biggest names in music: Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull.
In the video released on VEVO, Royce (né Geoffrey Royce Rojas) becomes infatuated with the curvaceous Latina when they make eye contact while poolside in Miami. From the looks of it, she’s interested in him, too.
Pitbull is seen having a great time dancing with beautiful women, finding time to donate a verse with advice to the lovestruck Romeo.
Expect this song to heat up the season with the combination of J.Lo’s sultry vocals, Royce’s pop stylings and a feel-good beat. As Pitbull says in the music video, “Yo, this got that dancehall feel to it.”
The English-language version of “Back It Up” is the second single from Royce’s upcoming album, which is set for release later this summer on RCA.
Royce, Lopez and Pitbull performed the song on the “American Idol” finale last month. It has since topped the iTunes Latino chart and continues to climb the pop charts.
