Jimmy Kimmel Exposes Superhero Identities in ‘Batman v Superman’ Deleted Scene (Video)

Talk show host won’t make final cut that premieres in theaters March 25

“Batman v Superman” will have to try and get by without the screen presence of Jimmy Kimmel.

During a special Oscars episode of his ABC late-night show on Sunday, Kimmel and guest Ben Affleck discussed the upcoming film, in which Affleck plays the Dark Knight. Kimmel said he was thrilled that he had a small role in the superhero blockbuster, but Affleck was forced to tell him that it was cut.

In a show of friendship, Affleck at least agreed to air the scene Kimmel was in for the comedian’s viewers.

In the scene, Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) attend a party, but can’t shake one annoying attendee. Guess who?

Things get awkward when Kimmel figures out that Kent is Superman and that Wayne is Batman. He then proceeds to tell everyone within earshot the secret identity of the heroes, including Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg).

Will Arnett (a.k.a. Lego Batman) makes a quick cameo, along with an actor Kimmel playfully despises.

“Batman v Superman” opens in theaters everywhere March 25.
