Jimmy Kimmel Falls Victim to Will Arnett’s Selfie Prank, Then Spreads the Love to Friends and Family (Video)

Not even the late-night host’s parents were safe

Jimmy Kimmel’s friends and family can blame Will Arnett for the comedian’s latest prank he pulled on them, and then broadcast the embarrassing results to his ABC audience on Wednesday.

The “Arrested Development” star texted Kimmel and told him to check out a new iPhone feature that allows you to add a range of filters to photos.

Instead, the steps Arnett described to Kimmel caused Kimmel to take a selfie that was instantly texted back to Arnett.

Kimmel decided to let the joke loose on his contact list. Both Kimmel’s parents sent him inadvertent selfies, while some his writers, his producers, and his faithful sidekick Guillermo did, too.

The best, or worst depending on your perspective, was Anthony Anderson. Kimmel tried the same trick on him, only for Anderson to send back an inadvertent selfie of him sitting on the toilet. That could have ended badly.

Watch the video to learn how to pull off the prank so you can make your friends look stupid, too.
