Jimmy Kimmel Plays Elaborate Ghost Prank on Staff Writer’s Terrified Roommate (Video)

“I’m gonna go crazy. I’m gonna start crying, I swear to God. I’m telling you I heard something — it didn’t sound human,” the writer’s terrified roommate says on hidden camera

Jimmy Kimmel lent his legendary pranking skills to a member of his writing staff on Tuesday.

Jack, a writer for the ABC late-night show, told Kimmel that his roommate, Mitch, is terrified of ghosts, so they teamed up to set up hidden cameras in the Los Angeles apartment and record Mitch’s reaction to a man making spooky noises under the floorboards.

Things start off slowly with a few well placed bumps in the night. But before long, Mitch is full-on fearing for his life as smoke begins to rise from beneath the floor.

“I’m gonna go crazy. I’m gonna start crying, I swear to God. I’m telling you I heard something — it didn’t sound human,” the terrified roommate is caught saying on camera before suffering through the climax of the elaborate prank.

After the previously recorded segment aired, Kimmel turned to Mitch and Jack standing by near Guillermo. “I do want to say, seriously, I love what you guys have done with your apartment,” Kimmel joked.
