J.J. Abrams Gets ‘Star Wars’ Plot Advice From Billy Dee Williams, William Shatner (Video)

William Shatner's suggestion for the next "Star Wars" film: A part for Captain Kirk — and a Chewbacca/Princess Leia hookup

Forget critics — apparently, everyone's a consultant.

J.J. Abrams, who's directing the next installment of the "Star Wars" film series, dropped in on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday night. And, while he was on hand to direct his most recent movie, "Star Trek Into Darkness," the resurrection of George Lucas' space saga was also a topic of conversation. And there was no shortage of voices happy to weigh in with advice for Abrams.

Chief among them: Actor and beloved Colt 45 pitchman Billy Dee Williams, who played rebel alliance general Lando Calrissian in the "Star Wars" series.

"I've got an idea. The next 'Star Wars' … nothing but Lando," Williams offered in a honey-dipped voice. "Two hours of Lando and beautiful ladies, making love — sweet love — in the galaxy."

"Star Trek" veteran William Shatner also had a sexy suggestion for Abrams. Along with an appearance for Captain Kirk in the film, Shatner concurred with "Star Wars" fans in Kimmel's audience that the time is nigh for some Wookie nookie. And he offered a pictorial representation of how that should play out.

"I agree with those weird people that Leia and Chewie should do it," Shatner said. "I've made some sketches here."

Watch and learn.
