Joe Biden is set to appear on the long-running NBC procedural “Law & Order: SVU,” TheWrap has learned.

Unfortunately, we won’t get to see our current vice president play a serial stalker who’s obsessed with women’s feet or something of the like. Instead, he will be playing himself in a scene during a press conference, in which he commends Det. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) for her work in clearing some of New York’s rape kit backlog.

Hargitay and Biden have collaborated on charitable efforts to benefit women several times in the past. They appeared together in a 2014 PSA about domestic violence.

Earlier this year, Hargitay’s Joyful Heart Foundation — which assists victims of sexual assault and domestic violence — gave Biden an award for his work in helping victims.

Biden has long been an advocate for causes that combat violence against women. During his time in the Senate, he championed the Violence Against Women Act, which provided protections for sexual assault and domestic violence victims.

Biden has also been vocal about the crisis of campus rape in the United States. He wrote a strong praise of the woman who was raped by Stanford swimmer Brock Turner after she released on open letter on the case when Turner only received a six-month sentence despite three felony convictions.
