Joe Giudice Admits to Drinking Problem, Guilt Over Teresa’s Prison Sentence on Part 2 of ‘WWHL’ Interview (Video)

“Before you started this ‘Real Housewives’ stuff, I think I used to only drink on the weekends,” Joe told his wife. “Now I drink every day”

Teresa and Joe Giudice sat down with Andy Cohen for a special two-part “Watch What Happens Live” interview one day after their sentences were handed down for Federal fraud charges. The second part, which sees Joe admit to guilt over sending his wife to prison as well as a drinking problem, airs Thursday night on Bravo.

For her part, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star at least appeared to be standing by her husband, even as she faced a 15-month sentence set to begin in January 2015. Once she is released, Joe will surrender himself for his own 41-month sentence.

Cohen pointedly asked if Joe felt guilty that his actions have resulted in his wife having to spend more than a year behind bars. While Tersa insisted, “I don’t think he meant to hurt me in any way,” Joe admitted feelings of remorse.

“I did everything I could to get her out of it, but it didn’t work,” Joe said.

Cohen then asked if Joe had anything to say to Teresa, but viewers will have to tune into the episode itself to see what he said.

In another clip from the interview, Joe admitted that he may have a drinking problem.

Before you started this ‘Real Housewives’ stuff, I think I used to only drink on the weekends,” he said to Teresa. “Now I drink every day.”

He said that it was just wine, but went on to add that he could drink two bottles easily by himself, and up to four with someone else.

“Do you think you have a problem?” Cohen asked him.

“I might have a little problem, yeah. I’m not gonna lie,” Joe said. “One bottle is like sucking a bottle of milk. It’s like nothing.”
