Sorry, “SmackDown”: John Cena was drafted to “The Tonight Show” last night. There, Jimmy Fallon and his ridiculously powerful guest played a little “Mad Lib Theater,” where the WWE Superstar did his best not to break Christmas kayfabe.
You see, Cena’s character in the sketch has lost his belief in Santa Claus. It is his brother Fallon’s job to bring it back through a series of ridiculous nouns, verbs and adjectives.
Eventually, the duo even rewrites a beloved holiday carol to go a little something like this: “Rudolph the seabreeze-nosed WWE Superstar, had a very shiny anus…”
Watch the video above, which also contains a pretty great “The Outsiders” reference for film fans.
Cena’s animated movie “Ferdinand” charges into theaters on Dec. 15.
Every WWE Champion Ever, Ranked by Number of Reigns (Photos)
From Buddy Rogers to Brock Lesnar, here are all the guys from the old WWWF and WWF days — and beyond
Pro-wrestling championship belts change hands (or waists) like grapplers change trunks these days, though it wasn't always that way. Hell, sometimes it only takes five seconds to crown a new champion, which was the case on Fox's "Friday Night SmackDown" premiere when Brock Lesnar squashed Kofi Kingston.
Scroll through our gallery to see every WWE Champion ever, ranked by their numbers of title reigns. Remember: this is a list of those who won the WWWF Championship, the WWF Championship or the WWE Championship. So don't come after us, Universal Champions, et al.
