Jon Stewart Goes Off on CNN, Fox News’ Selma Anniversary Coverage (Video)

“One man was so moved he remarked ‘I have a drone,'” Stewart says spoofing CNN’s drone coverage at Selma anniversary march

Jon Stewart tore into CNN and Fox News’ coverage of the 50th anniversary of the Selma March Monday, addressing CNN’s drone usage and Fox News’

“One man was so moved he remarked ‘I have a drone,’” Stewart said spoofing CNN’s drone usage over the anniversary celebration.  “I have a drone that a news channel will be judged not by the content of its content, but by the uselessness of its gizmos.”

Stewart went on to say everyone would be fine with their drone footage if they would “just shut the f*k up about it.”

“Stop acting like you launched a space station…for God sakes The Daily Show used a drone in a field piece, and we’re idiots.”

He then turned his ire to Fox News, who’s coverage focused on The New York Times cropping President George W. Bush out of a photo.

The New York Times’ photographer says they didn’t crop President Bush out of the photo, but instead didn’t send the ones with he and First Lady Laura Bush because the former president was “super-overexposed” in the sun.

“CNN might have flying robot cameras, but Fox has drones.
