Jonathan Helfgot Named Worldwide Marketing Chief at Walden Media

Veteran Fox executive will oversee branding and marketing

Veteran Fox executive Jonathan Helfgot has been named executive vice president of worldwide marketing at Walden Media.

In his new role, Helfgot will oversee the marketing of all Walden films, as well as assist with the company's branding and cross-promotion strategy. 

“I am incredibly grateful to Fox for allowing me to grow and expand upon my duties over my eight years at the studio," Helfgot said in a statement. "I’m looking forward to the next chapter at Walden, while welcoming the chance to collaborate on several projects with my friends and colleagues at Fox.”

Helfgot previously served as senior vice president of marketing and research at 20th Century Fox, where he worked on such films as “Avatar,” the “Alvin & the Chipmunks” franchise, “Taken” and “Rio.” 

Walden is best known for its "Chronicles of Narnia" films and has produced other family fare like  “Journey to the Center of the Earth" and “Charlotte’s Web.”
