Justin Bieber Breaks Silence on Nude Vacation Photos: ‘That Was Shrinkage for Me’

“What Do You Mean?” singer says he feels “super violated” by full-frontal paparazzi shots

Justin Bieber has broken his silence over those nude photos taken of the singer on a recent vacation. The pop star admitted to outrage, and also addressed the images directly with an apparently playful — if not a bit defensive — joke.

“My first thing was like … how can they do this?  Like, I feel super violated,” Bieber told Billy Bush in an interview set to run later this month. “Like, I feel like I can’t step outside and feel like I can go outside naked. Like, you should feel comfortable in your own space … especially that far away.”

And in terms of the photos that hit the web? “That was shrinkage for me,” the singer said with a laugh.

Bieber also spoke to Bush about earning his first Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “What Do You Mean?”

“I’ve been around for so long that people thought that maybe I had a Number 1 already and I’ve had Number 1s, like Number 1 on iTunes and stuff, but to have a Billboard Number 1 is really special because it’s like everything added up together,” he said. “I debuted at Number 1 and I think I’m the youngest person to debut at Number 1, which is pretty awesome.”

Bieber’s new album “Purpose” drops on Nov. 13. Part 1 of the “Access Hollywood” interview airs on Oct. 19; Part 2 is Oct. 29.
