Justin Timberlake Goes to Camp With Jimmy Fallon in Surprise ‘Tonight Show’ Appearance (Video)

Friends play themselves as teenagers at camp who talk about growing up and sing Third Eye Blind’s “Jumper”

Justin Timberlake surprised “The Tonight Show” audience Tuesday night, appearing in a silly camp sketch with Jimmy Fallon. The two close friends portrayed teenage versions of themselves and cabin-mates at a sleepaway camp obsessed with girls, puberty and — for some reason — Third Eye Blind’s “Jumper.”

There were plenty of planted ’90s references to date the sketch, including Timberlake very pointedly explaining that a CD is a compact disc.

Thought it was lights out, the two rocked out with their flashlights. At least, until the camp counselor came and threatened to take away their beanie-weenie privileges if they didn’t straighten up, hush up and go to sleep. No matter how much they tried, though, the music just lived inside them demanding to be let out at extremly high decibels.

“Hey Jimmy, best friends forever,” Timberlake asked at the end of the sketch.

“Yeah, best friends forever,” Jimmy agreed. And then, of course, they erupted into song again.

It was no “History of Rap 6,” but it was fun seeing Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon having fun together.

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.
