Justin Timberlake’s ‘Supplies’ Exists in Post-Weinstein, Trump, #MeToo Wasteland (Music Video)

There are also messages in there about police brutality and race relations

Justin Timberlake’s got “Supplies” — whatever that means — and he’s stockpiling them for a post-Weinstein, Trump and #MeToo landscape that music video director Dave Meyers seems to think is coming.

On the pop star’s latest Vevo/YouTube release, Timberlake is consumed by more news than any one person can possibly consume. He then disappears into a dystopian future where the anger and iconography from our current climate seems to only have escalated.

At the end, a dirty child in Timberlake’s wasteland shouts at us to “die already” — or at least, to “wake up.”

Timberlake will be performing at Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis on Feb. 4, 2018. Timberlake’s new album, “Man of the Woods,” will be released on Feb. 2, 2018.
