“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” has halted production after Kim Kardashian‘s robbery at gunpoint in Paris earlier this week.
“Kim’s well-being is our core focus right now. No decision has been made as to when production will resume,” a spokesperson for the network told TheWrap.
The reality TV star said she was tied up by armed robbers, locked in a bathroom and had more than $10 million worth of jewelry stolen early Monday morning.
The men were dressed as police officers and wore ski masks, and put a gun to her temple, according to Reuters. Paris police officials told the AP that five assailants stole a jewelry box containing valuables worth between $5.6 and $6.7 million, as well as a ring worth about $4.5 million.
Kardashian was staying at a private residence in Paris when the burglary took place. The culprits are still at large. A representative said the reality TV star is “badly shaken but physically unharmed.”
Kardashian, who was in Paris attending fashion week shows, left France aboard a private jet from Le Bourget airport after speaking to investigators.
Kanye West cut short a concert at Citi Field in Queens, New York on Sunday night when he learned of the incident, telling the crowd, “I’m sorry, family emergency, I have to stop the show.
