Kellyanne Conway Shares Her Opinion of CNN’s Programming: ‘Eh’ (Video)

“There’s not going to be a single show on CNN — unless you count the cooking shows — that doesn’t feature this Russia, Russia, Russia,” Conway says

CNN’s Chris Cuomo and White House senior counselor Kellyanne Conway had a heated conversation on Thursday night, where she said everyone on the network, except for Anthony Bourdain, is obsessed with Russia.

Conway pointed out a recent poll that shows CNN spends 75 percent of the time discussing the Russia election scandal; Cuomo insisted that the network tries to “cover everything that matters” to viewers.

“Eh,” Conway responded.

During the segment, Cuomo and Conway disagreed on whether or not the Russia investigation is an issue of national security. The Trump surrogate repeatedly reminded viewers that the president has personally been cleared, as of now, and is simply “pro-America.” Conway also Cuomo that she “respectfully” disagrees that CNN tries to cover all the important issues.

“There’s not going to be a single show on CNN, tonight, tomorrow, the next day, unless you count the cooking shows or the whatever, ‘Parts Unknown’ shows, that doesn’t feature this Russia, Russia, Russia,” Conway said.

Cuomo defended his network, saying he wants to know “what the Russians did to try to get to the president’s son,” and stressing that he he thinks the coverage is fair and important.

“I want to know that we now understand those tactics and techniques so we can stop it the next time. And I want to know what financial dealings may have been used, if any, to try and compromise people around the president,” Cuomo said.
