Keri Russell will star opposite Adam Driver in the first Broadway revival of Lanford Wilson’s play “Burn This.”

Russell, who is best known for her Emmy-nominated role on “The Americans” and is set to appear in “Star Wars: Episode IX,” will star as the modern dancer Anna in the production. Her “Star Wars” co-star Driver will play the role of Pale.

According to the production’s announcement, the play “tells the story of four New Yorkers whose lives are uprooted by a young dancer’s accidental death. Set in downtown New York in the raw and gritty 1980s, the combustible drama explores the spiritual and emotional isolation of the dangerous, sexy, raw and demanding Pale (Driver) and the modern dancer Anna (Russell), and their tempestuous relationship after the two iconoclasts are brought together in the wake of a life-changing personal tragedy.”

The play will be directed by Tony winner Michael Mayer and produced by David Binder. “Burn This” is expected to begin performances on Broadway in March 2019.

Additional casting and design team will be announced shortly.
