Kevin Hart Asks Lamar Odom ‘Do You Realize How Close to Death You Were?’ (Video)

Odell Beckham Jr., Johnny Manziel, and Isaiah Thomas also appear on Season 2 of Hart and Lionsgate’s series “Cold as Balls”

Kevin Hart strips down and gets personal on Season 2 of his ice-bath interview series “Cold as Balls.”

“I’ve got major shrinkage,” complained Hart as he sunk into the ice in the premiere episode that aired Tuesday night on the “Get Hard” actor’s Laugh Out Loud network.

But not all of Hart’s conversation topics were funny, especially with first guest Lamar Odom.

“Do you realize how close to death you were?” he asked the former Los Angeles Lakers star, bluntly referring to his infamous health crisis after he was found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada in October 2015.

“Yeah, all my doctors that see me say I’m a walking miracle. I had 12 strokes and six heart attacks when I was in my coma,” the two-time NBA champion replied.

“Don’t judge me until you’ve walked a mile in my shoes,” he added later.

Ill-fated former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel didn’t back away from tough questions either.

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. seemed to have more fun though, despite the freezing interview location.

Later in the series, Hart discovers that there’s more than one Isaiah Thomas in the sports world.

“I’m looking forward to jumping back in the ice bath to go head-to-head with a whole new set of incredible sports figures this season,” Hart said in a statement to TheWrap. “It was amazing to see the overwhelming response and massive viewership from the first season. This season is sure to be another game changer with bigger laughs and colder questions.”

OBB’s president and CEO, Michael D. Ratner, and Sean Thomas Spencer created the series. Ratner also served as executive producer alongside Hart, Laugh Out Loud president Jeff Clanagan, Dave Becky, Scott Ratner, Eric D. Cohen and Kfir Goldberg. Laugh Out Loud is a comedy brand and multi-platform network founded by Hart in partnership with Lionsgate.

“After the tremendous success of the first season, we are so excited to return with Season 2 for the millions of fans of this show — only bigger, funnier and crazier. Kevin’s unique ability to get the realest conversations with the biggest stars in the world allows for this show to be unlike any other,” Ratner said.

New episodes hosted by Kevin Hart premiere every Tuesday on the Laugh Out Loud Youtube channel, Laugh Out Loud app and LaughOutLoud.com.

Launched in February 2018, Season 1 became the most-watched series on the Laugh Out Loud network, earning over 10 million views with its debut episode and over 80 million views across the entire six-episode season.
