Kevin Hart to Have More Awkward Moments as Host of Sports Comedy Show ‘Cold as Balls’ (Video)

Hot off his Super Bowl LII adventures, the actor will interview athletes like LaVar Ball, Blake Griffin and Lindsey Vonn… while in an ice bath

Kevin Hart had plenty of awkward moments during his trip to Super Bowl LII  this past weekend, and fans can expect many more when the actor hosts new sports interview show, “Cold as Balls.”

The “Get Hard” star will interview world class athletes and celebrities … all while sitting in a bone-chilling ice bath. Yep, that’s sure to spark some unusual responses — and possibly frostbite!

Hart will be joined by co-hosts Terry Crews and Lil Rey as they quizz guests including LaVar Ball, Blake Griffin, Candace Parker, Draymond Green, Nerlens Noel, Chandler Parsons, Lindsey Vonn, Hope Solo, Desean Jackson, Baron Davis and Demariyus Thomas.

“‘Cold As Balls’ captures everything Laugh Out Loud is about — comedy, edginess, and a unique inclusiveness,” Hart said in a statement on Thursday. “There’s something about the ice-cold water that brings out the funniest and most absurd side of these comedians and athletes.”

“Cold as Balls” will premiere on Hart’s Laugh Out Loud network on Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. with guest LaVar Ball, followed by NBA star Blake Griffin on Friday, Feb. 9. Then new episodes will air Wednesdays and Fridays.

The series is developed and produced by OBB Pictures. OBB’s Michael D. Ratner and Sean Thomas Spencer created the series and serve as Executive Producers alongside Hart, Laugh Out Loud President Jeff Clanagan, Dave Becky, Scott Ratner and Eric D. Cohen. It is sponsored by Old Spice.

Ratner described the project as “an incredibly fun show that merges the biggest names in sports with comedy’s biggest star — Kevin Hart.

“We’re excited to be working with Kevin on this show and have a lot of very funny stuff planned ahead for this series,” he added.

Founded in 2014 by Ratner, OBB Pictures is a multimedia production company specializing in millennial-driven content including comedy, drama, sports, documentary and music.
