There wasn’t a lot for the L.A. Rams to laugh about during their first season back on Los Angeles, but this year promises to be a lot more jovial thanks to a new partnership with the Laugh Factory.

The NFL team and the Hollywood comedy club announced the match-up in a joint press release Tuesday, which detailed the deal to develop unique comedy content.

When the 2017 season kicks off in September, Laugh Factory’s comedians will create Rams-themed content that will live exclusively on the Rams social and digital channels, presented by AT&T and displayed on stadium video boards. The Rams currently play at the USC’s Coliseum until their $2.6-billion Inglewood stadium is built.

The partnership means that Rams season ticket holders will be able to use their game tickets to attend Laugh Factory comedy clubs with no additional charge.

“We are excited to partner with the Laugh Factory to deliver new and different content to our fans,” Rams VP of Strategy Dan August said. “As we continue to deepen our connection with Angelenos across this region, we are looking forward to working with this LA icon and global brand.”

“We are thrilled to be teaming up with LA’s original football franchise in the top U.S. pro sports league on this ground-breaking endeavor,” Laugh Factory President and CEO Dan Raskov added.

In January, the Rams named former Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Sean McVay as head coach, taking over from NFL veteran Jeff Fisher, who was fired in December. At just 30 years old, McVay became the youngest head coach in modern NFL history.

The World Famous Laugh Factory was started in 1979 by founder and owner Jamie Masada and now has seven comedy clubs around the U.S.
