Lena Dunham Backs Obama with Racy ‘First Time’ Endorsement (Video)

Lena Dunham urges college-aged voters to have their "first time" with a guy who understand's women's health care issues

Lena Dunham is urging college-aged voters to have their "first time" with a guy who understands women's issues.

No, the "Girls" wunderkind isn't talking about that kind of "first time." Get those prurient minds out of the gutter, because she's talking about the big O.

Obama, that is.

With some tongue-in-cheek word play, Dunham backs the president in a new ad by reminding younger women to support "a guy who cares whether you get health insurance and specifically whether you get birth control."

"My first time voting was amazing," Dunham recalls in the spot. "It was this line in the sand. Before I was a girl, now I was a woman."

But it's not just contraception and coming of age, Dunham said. Voters should also take into the candidates' positions on war and gay marriage.

After all she said, you don't want to do it with a guy who "thinks that gay people should never have beautiful, complicated weddings like the kinds we see on Bravo and TLC all the time."

Now who might that be?
