Things got weird on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Tuesday night when the host and guest Lin-Manuel Miranda recreated a certain basement vinyl listening party.
The two reminisced about jamming out to Weird Al Yankovic’s album “Polka Party” in Fallon’s Long Island basement before Fallon pulled out the record player.
“This should never have left the basement,” Miranda joked. The two didn’t rehearse, but were suspiciously in sync as they rocked out to Weird Al.
Earlier in the show, Miranda discussed his latest song “Almost Like Praying,” which benefits relief efforts in Puerto Rico, and joined “The Roots” for a freestyle (watch that clip right here).
