Maren Olson has joined CAA’s Film Finance & Sales Group, the agency announced Thursday.
Based in CAA’s Los Angeles office, Olson will focus on the group’s expanding packaging business, which has put together such films as this year’s Cannes entry “Sicario” and Oscar nominees such as “The Imitation Game” and “American Hustle,” as well as “Still Alice,” “John Wick” and many others.
Olson comes to CAA from independent film production company Traction Media, where she served as president and oversaw the creative development, packaging, production, financing, and sales of films including the award-winning drama “Short Term 12” and the upcoming Patricia Arquette movie “The Wannabe.”
