Mark Hamill Is Not a Fan of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner’s Son Wearing a Stormtrooper Costume (Photo)

“#GoForceYourself,” Luke Skywalker says

Mark Hamill is usually very welcoming to any “Star Wars” fans, but when Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump shared their latest family photo, he took exception.

Over the weekend, Ivanka Trump posted a pair of photos of them dressed in their evening best along with their son, who can be seen wearing a full outfit of the white armor worn by a Stormtrooper from the “Star Wars” films.

“The Force is strong in my family,” the caption read.

But Hamill was quick to snark back: “You misspelled ‘Fraud.’ #GoForceYourself.”

While plenty of kids dress as Stormtroopers, it’s worth pointing out that dressing up the president’s grandson as a soldier of the evil Galactic Empire proved too much to resist for online critics of the Trumps, even if one of those critics turns out to be a Jedi Knight.

Even Patton Oswalt joked about the photo, going all nerd on the couple that likely wouldn’t know a midichlorian from a nerf herder.

“‘Force’? Doubtful. Your son is dressed as a Stormtrooper, who serve as the Palpatine Empire’s shock forces and were originally introduced in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Originally cloned from bounty hunter Jango Fett… (1/17,313),” the comedian wrote.
